OPEN CALL FOR SHOWS,
PERFORMANCES, MULTIMEDIA INSTALLATIONS
2024 EDITION
The following call, promoted by Associazione Quarantasettezeroquattro, Festival In\Visible Cities-Contaminazioni Digitali, CSS Teatro stabile di innovazione del FVG and PimOff, is open to single artists, groups, collectives, companies interested in presenting:
● interdisciplinary creations that emphasize technological and artistic interlanguage dialogue (performance, theatre, dance, new technologies, music, walks, explorations, installations, etc.)
● installation and/or performance creations in public spaces
The call supports:
A. One project to be developed in residence in more steps (with public openings), hosted by:
− Residency and public opening at Dialoghi / Residenze delle arti performative a Villa Manin curated by CSS Teatro stabile di innovazione del FVG (Codroipo, Udine – June-July 2024). Cachet 2.000 euro gross, 15 days of residency, board and accommodation.
− Public opening at Festival In\Visible cities; (Gradisca d’Isonzo, end of August-early September 202). Cachet 1200 euro gross + accommodation.
− Residency and public opening at PimOff (Milan, indicative period September-December 2024). Cachet 1200 euro gross, 7-14 residency days + accommodation.
B. One or more projects to be developed in one residency step (with public opening), hosted by one of the partners: Contaminazioni Digitali, Festival In\Visible Cities, Dialoghi / Residenze delle arti performative a Villa Manin a cura del CSS Teatro stabile di innovazione del FVG, PimOff.
A gross cachet of 1.200 euro is foreseen + residency hospitality (15 days CSS, 7-14 days Contaminazioni Digitali, Festival In\Visible Cities, PimOff)
C. Hospitality of a project that has already debuted in urban or theatrical spaces, hosted by: Contaminazioni digitali, Festival In\Visible Cities, PimOff.
A gross cachet of 1.200 euro is foreseen.
Priority will be given to projects that are innovative in terms of the relationship between performance, multimedia languages and urban or natural spaces through site-specific and community-specific formats.
Participants »
The call is open to artists of all performing arts expressions who use multimedia in their practice. Artists can be of any nationality, resident in Italy or abroad.
Groups of artists are allowed to participate. Participants must be of age at the beginning of the residency/festival.
Main selection criteria »
• Quality level and originality of the proposal;
• Innovativeness of the format regarding the dialogue between expressive and technological languages;
• feasibility of the project in terms of costs, time, technical equipment and logistics;
• artistic curriculum;
• potential for development and replication of the project in other contexts.
