Quarantasettezeroquattro – History, memory, territory: these are the main themes around which Quarantasettezeroquattro works to build a network of related initiatives in order to make interact scientific research, arts, education and new technologies. The association, founded in Gorizia (Italy) in 2009, coordinates the work of researchers and experts in various disciplines – historians, researchers, artists, film makers – fostering interaction and dialogue of different methodologies, ideas and perspectives: encourages and offers studies and research on the relationship between history, memory and active citizenship; organizes scientific, cultural and educational activities focused on cooperation and cross- border mobility. Works in the field of audiovisual productions, exhibitions and museums as “Topographies of Memory – Widespread Museum of the Border Area”; organizes cultural festivals, events, workshops and educational projects for schools of all levels.

Puntozero is a cooperative founded in 2011 by a group of young professionals. The main purposes of our work are the sharing and the connection of talents. We produce, communicate and disseminate ideas for ourselves and for others in various contexts. We are devoted to communication strategies and services, to photography, video and graphic design. We also compose European projects for private persons and public organizations. Furthermore we are dealing with event organization in the cultural and artistic field.

198 Contemporary Arts mission is to advance public interest in the visual arts, as well as nurture and support the career of emerging, under-represented artists. Our artistic programme provides a platform for participation, exchange and dialogue for artists, our partners and diverse audiences. Our work is particularly focused on issues of social inclusion and diversity and seeks to engage with global issues while being rooted in the history of our locality. We also provide opportunities for young people to engage with the visual arts and gain experience in the creative and cultural industries through links with our creative learning programme and youth social enterprise.

Foundation for partnership and civil society development has a mission to encourage and promote community development and active citizenship by providing information regarding civil society, financial grants, education and cross-sectorial cooperation. Through its activities and programmes it wants to create an active civil society which, in partnership with the public and business sector, contributes to the development of local communities.
The Foundation provides information, technical and financial support to programs that promote sustainability of the non-profit sector, civic initiatives, volunteerism, and overall improvement of the quality of life in local communities. The values carried out by the Foundation are the values that underpin its vision and its goals: respect for human rights, transparent action, high responsibility of all actors in the community, cooperation and dialogue, networking and partnership. Through advocacy, lobby and promotion of values of civil society, Foundation is an active participant in the process of creating public opinion and promoting active involvement of citizens. The Foundation was established in 4th October 2006, by the County of Istria.

Oddstream focuses on the production, distribution and exhibition of art that borders on and incorporates technology and design. We don’t distinguish between artists, engineers, designers and users, as they all create the experience, they are all makers. Oddstream aims to let a broad audience interact with new forms of art to surprise and inspire them. We focus on art that deals with technological and innovative developments in society. Our main activities are distinguishable in the ongoing Oddstream Studio and the biannual Oddstream Festival. Oddstream Studio facilitates co-productions with artists and designers to create new and commissioned work for festivals, events, and business presentations like openings and anniversaries. Work created for the Oddstream Festival and other events is promoted by us, and regularly appears at other exhibitions and festivals in the Netherlands and abroad. Oddstream Festival promotes collaboration between artists and cultural organizations at a local, national and international level. At the first edition of the festival in 2011, which included a large music program, over 100 artists and performers from more than 30 countries participated, and attracted 4,000 visitors. The second edition omitted the music program and focused on the art. It attracted 2,500 visitors, but brought even more people in contact with art by exhibiting a number of works in a park and other public locations in Nijmegen. The third edition in 2014 attracted 4,000 visitors and exhibited sixteen art works.
